Downtown St Louis 80 mph winds.
Oh my God, at first I thought it was the Madrid Fault Earthquake, then I saw the keywords. Wow. Scary. Please try to point out what you're talking about!
My wife is traveling east bound on I-44 and just stopped for the night in Sullivan, Missouri. She will resume on I-44 east in the morning and connect with I-55 north in St. Louis.
Do you know of any problems with those routes?
Wow, what time did this blow in? I fly out of St Louis today at 4:40pm when it was a pleasant 100F outside with clear skies and wind out of the east (which is rare).
Hate the whirly jigs. We could always pack up and leave Lower Alabama for the cat 3+. Can't see this stuff coming.
NEvermind, I'm just a skim reader, and at second glace I saw it said storm. Sorry.
::embaressed::

What's going on there?
Sounds like she'd be better off taking I-255 around the south end of St. Louis.

There have been reports of roofs being blown off of homes and the rooftop restaurant at the Millenium Hotel has reported the windows in the restaurant have been blown out and people have been evacuated. Also, there are reports of a student trapped in a car at Lindenwood University and a tree has fallen on the car.
The National Weather Service Doppler Radar continues to indicate a strong rotation in a thunderstorm which could produce a tornado at any time.
The storm is moving rapidly to the south toward the Potosi area.
I heard Busch stadium is damaged.
It's a little farther that way but I read that I-270 is a mess and I-44 connects with I-55 right down town. I'll tell her to take I-255. Thanks.
Derecho went though. May have had an embedded tornado.
