Yes.

That was the thread. I think every Bush hater on the forum flocked to it.

Most of them didn't even understand the issue.

There is no mandate against embryonic stem cell research. It can be done privately. This was a veto over a plan for us (our government) to fund it, which we shouldn't be doing anyway. It's for private companies to do.

You are right about that thread. I could not believe the ignorance of the subject. The most ignorant were the ones yelling the loudest. *shaking head*

This needs to be repeated again and again, altura. Unfortunately though, the President haters are unreasonable...and one cannot reason with an unreasonable person. Very sad.

I'm THRILLED with this veto!

Friends of the Tiggy's used all the eggs in 2 IVF procedures. The 1st produced a single child. The 2nd produced triplets. Then God intervened and gifted them with a natural conception of one child. What a blessing!
