Defying the will of Congress (remember these votes in November!), President Bush sent a veto message (read the president's message here), that he would not sign HR 810, the "Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2005."
President Bush addressed the situation in Lebanon while meeting with members of Congress in the White House.
Secretary of State Rice met at the State Department today: New Zealand's Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Peres, and Belgium's Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht. Next week she is scheduled to attend Southeast Asia's top security forum.

Indeed, jonny. You shouldn't have showed us all how very clever you are. ;)
I'll back you for sure.
The others you pinged have been around LOTS longer than I have. Maybe they have some suggestions as to how to go about letting the Mods know what you're thinking....

So we shouldn't be surprised if other ideologically and/or hate-drive types are doing the same thing. Absolutely.
Have you noticed that the most viral Bush haters appear only when the president appears to be in trouble (Katrina, Harriet Miers, Schiavo, etc) You hardly, if ever, see those screen names on any other thread, discussing any other topic. It's always anti-Bush.
I used to think they were just uber-Cons, and some of them are, but it wouldn't be beyond a leftist (especially a paid leftist) to have a few FR names stashed away for a rainy day.

What I have noticed is that when the President gets some good press, they imnnediately swarm on the thread to explain why good is evil, wrong is right, etc.
A good example is the thread on the President's veto of the stem cell bill today. It brought forth a whole host of anti-Bush posters, even though this was a very conservative and pro-life action.
I challenge all to see if I am right. Whenever the President does something which most conservatives and Republicans like, one will see sudden anti-Bush posters (cloaked in faux conservative robes) ranting about how wrong he is. They never show up on threads about democrats.

Whenever the President does something which most conservatives and Republicans like, one will see sudden anti-Bush posters (cloaked in faux conservative robes) ranting about how wrong he is. I agree.
The two posters (or one poster) we're talking about was doing that last night. He was acting just like a liberal. He wanted government to solve the problem. He looked to government for answers. He wanted government to throw money at stem cell research, believing that something wonderful would happen.
All of his ideas flew in the face of conservatism, but yet he talked to every one that disagreed with him as if he was the only true conservative.
It made no sense. Unless he's a troll. Or mentally unstable. Or both.

Having troll problems? Not here, but on the veto thread last night. We suspect that a poster is using two different screen names.

You are absolutely right, Miss Marple.
And they never show up on live threads, or threads about issues (have you seen any of these offenders on the Israel War threads?)
I posit the opinion that the ONLY threads they appear on are positive threads about President Bush (or, of course, immigration threads), to sow seeds of discord, and to cast doubt on the President's integrity.
I'm going to be blunt here, but, IMO, they are of the devil. Their problem with the President is that he is a Christian and he lives Christ in his life. That's why they hate him so much.

You all are much better than I am at remembering various phrases coming from various screen names. I think I need to start working on something that will improve my memory.

JimRob has installed software that monitors the IP address of computers and their respective nics. He's caught multiple "duplicate" posters and banned them as I think is appropriate. Oppsie...I've registered the screen name "Musketball Barbossa" to use on Sept. 19th, "Talk Like a Pirate Day."

Whoops!! LOL. I'm sure JR knows that you aren't part of the kind of problem we've been discussing.
