they could die from repercutions too... not necessarily blowing up the bunker but enough boom to shatter internal organs and such
It was reorted that some British tanker crews died inside the UNpenetrated hulls of Matildas? in 1940 from multiple hits by German 88s. Repeated high pressure waves burst eardrums ,rupture organs(especially those containg high proportion of liquid,and lungs are vulnerable ,too.)
