Just saw on CNN that 23 tons of explosives were dropped on a Hezbollah bunker. Top Hezbollah officials are believed to have been inside."Ok, just one more play of the "You had a Bad Day" song cued up with video of the explosion. Then that overplayed song has to go away forever and never return.

We'll all hope for the best. But we should all remember that first reports from the battlefield are always wrong -- and that may be especially true when dealing with CNN.

This is very exciting. I may have to enjoy a nice dinner out tonight in celebration.
The US was providing the Israeli's with advanced bunker busters. Maybe we helped ZARK some Hezzies.

We shoulda loaned some of our bunker busters. Heck, they could have them for free, as far as I'm concerned.

23 Tons.. so thats what? 80+ 500 lb bombs or 20-30 bunker busters? Thats a serious unloading of firepower on 1 target. Is this place big? Or just very very deep underground?

Report from AP via YNET News:
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3278663,00.html
"Israeli warplanes dropped bombs late Wednesday on a bunker in south Beirut where senior Hizbullah leaders were thought to be, the military said.
Military officials said a wave of aircraft dropped 23 tons of explosives on the bunker. The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity
because they were not authorized to talk to reporters, said top Hizbullah figures were thought to be there, possibly including Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah. The officials said the bunker was in the Bourj al-Barajneh section of southern Beirut.
The military said the attack occurred about 11 p.m., but reporters in Beirut said the last loud explosion heard there was two and-a-half hours earlier.
Israel has said that one of the objects of its offensive in Lebanon is to eliminate Hizbullah leaders."
