I read a book back during the Cold War (that was before there we PCs and the Internet) that may explain this brainwashing. And I other knowledge that may shed light on this. The book was written by a Chechslovakian defector and if I am not mistaken it is actually banned in some parts of the west.
The book explained that the Soviet's would buy our politicians to change our laws and change our culture and backbone. The communist would spew their propaganda through out the US. The poor, disillusioned, and the weak would be targeted first. Institution would be targeted (see the ACLU, Hollywood, and I think the DNC).
Now, go check out the American Communist web page, the socialist party web page and the DNCs web page. Do a search and see the similarities. Now, I know of a project that is interesting enough:

I don't believe a word Hollywood says. I don't believe the Lame Stream Media. I think these people, hippies and the rest of the liberals bit into the commie propaganda spewed in our country by the Soviets during the Cold War. I may be wrong, but I think there are a lot of questions to be asked and answered.
