Wars, rumors of wars, volcanic activity, earthquakes and tsunamis...what's next?
There are no unusually high levels of wars, erupting volcanoes, earthquakes, or tsunamis at the moment.
In fact, for most of those, activity is below normal.

You should know better by now.
Every time a volcano erupts, there is an earthquake, or any other disaster strikes, some people can't help but start singing "It's the end of the world as we know it..."
