No I don't think we should fall into the diplomacy trap. Diplomacy in this instance means delaying the inevitable confrontation. Israel has justification and even Arab states are staying out of this - probably because they don't want to deal with Hezbollah on their soil.
My 2 cents.

No not yet. Israel needs to stand on their own feet and defend themsleves or they will never achieve the perception of that capability.

IMO...she will wait until after the absolutely useless trip by the UN...to check things out.
Right now..there is nothing for her to do...except maybe see how far Olmert wants to go...and report to President Bush..but, Bush could call Olmert..I think Olmert is busy.
