16:11 Hezbollah-linked Lebanese minister: We won`t strike Israel`s nuclear plants (Haaretz)
Folks the pucker factor just went thru the roof.
Is he speaking as a Hez or as a Leb?
Very troubling escalation if this "threat" is carried out.

no threat here, they are saying they will NOT hit Israeli nuke facilities
AMEN! If this isn't proof for the absolute WISDOM of President Reagan and his Strategic Defense Initiative, I have no idea what could be.
And all that Clinton and the Dems have done is cost us 10 years of research time when we could have been implementing the missile shield ;(
Bastids!
what do they have to strike them with? unguided katushkas with ball bearing warheads won't be able to do much damage (or even hit) a facility like this.

Respectfully, Dog, the pucker factor here has remained at nearly constant levels throughout this crisis.
When you make a habit of deliberately and regularly confronting the worst case possible, then reality usually arrives as a bonus, much more pleasant than what you planned for.
This could go nuclear.
It won't go nuclear here, with the infinitesimally possible exception of one or two population centers.
We cannot lose, if it comes to a fight, but we can ensure that our enemies cease to exist. That is the unalterable bottom line.
