The danger is in Israel agreeing to promises of Hezbollah disarmament before it actually happens. Israel has enough experience with international guarantees to know they are seldom realized. Basically, Israel should annihilate Hezbollah forces up to the Zaharani River and then pullout and create a buffer zone between it and the border to which hostiles will not be allowed to return. This is not going to be a quick operation. No one knows when this campaign will end. We just have to hope the goals of the current operation are attained and that Hezbollah is broken as a threat to Israel.

The Zaharani is north of Litani River, which used to the stop point. But i guess with these new longer range missiles the IDF should take it to Zaharani

I'm sure that those are the goals of the IDF, but the will of the Israeli government to allow them to accomplish those goals is my worry.
