The weird thing is that I'm hoping that this Hezbollah thing will escalate into WWIII, just to get it over with. I'm not at all happy that this thought has come to me, but it's there nonetheless.

Chances are that the Israeli government is too sane to let this escalate too far. I'm not completely sure the other side is that sane, however. Still, it's likely that we're just going to kick the can down the road a bit further.

I hope that the end result will not include multiple nuclear fireballs, but I'm not optimistic--hence my weird wish that we just get it over with here and now.

Damn, I really hate this, and I've almost finished that bottle of wine.
