Your post makes a lot of sense, as the Libs I know just want (and believe they can have) a "can't we all just get along" world view. Despite history, despite facts, despite the evil that some humans achieve. They are devoid of any common sense, and I find interaction with them impossible.

When my grandson was 10, he made a similar statement. I told him that was a great idea, but that it only works if both sides want to get along, and usually, one of them does not.

Evidently, no one has ever said that to a lib.
