That should be reading "4 more explosions in Damascus". Its like Israel wants to be a war of attrition for the next million years. They refuse to do what is necessary to eradicate the threat once and for all.
There was a rumor a few days ago about a three-member "emergency government" being installed - Olmert, Bibi, and one other guy who I can't think of at the moment.
My understanding was that Israel doesn't want to topple the Assad regime. Radical Islamists and Hezbollah will fill the void when he comes down ... and he will fall eventually. I am lead to believe that Assad is the lesser of two evils.
This is 21st century trench warfare. The Arabs think if they breed like roaches they can someday take over. I think Israel is going to cut off water and power and for Damascus to deal with a huge human refugee crisis ...
