Funny how Mubarek is only calling on Israel to have an unconditional cease-fire..so things can calm down.
Also, they will be opening a checkpoint between Egypt and Gaza on Tuesday for about 8 hours...so people can flee...or the terrorists can get more weapons??
We are watching Benedict Arnold on Revolution on the History Channel right now.
sigh
We have several of those right now.
The UN expects Lebanon to enforce Res. 1559? - idiots!
Israel did everything the world leaders told them to do and more
NONE of it worked ... that is why Israel is taking matters into her own hands to deal with these terrorists
Chances are that the Israeli government is too sane to let this escalate too far. I'm not completely sure the other side is that sane, however. Still, it's likely that we're just going to kick the can down the road a bit further.
I hope that the end result will not include multiple nuclear fireballs, but I'm not optimistic--hence my weird wish that we just get it over with here and now.
Damn, I really hate this, and I've almost finished that bottle of wine.
Good night all. May tomorrow bring better news . . .
"According to Jennifer the Israelis now have a plane that can fly to Iran without refueling........."
Can it fly back, too? Or is it one of those disposable models?

I remember not many years ago when conventional wisdom was that arabs would never attack other arabs. They now do it daily.
CNN has Air Raid Sirens live in HAIFA...
Made for CNN war on blow-by-blow TV...
I've been thinking the same thing.
It's been known for several years that their F-16's can do it with wing fuel tanks. They also have subs with missiles.
WOW on CNN coverage!!!! BEATING everyone else.
Yes, the F-16I Extended Range. They also bought 5,000 bunker-busters from the US.
I don't think you made things better for yourself by posting that post about Condi...nope...not here.
Yes, I know there are a chunk of Freepers that are Condi lovers. I'm not one of them. Too liberal. She's pro-choice you know. And like Colin, has been swayed by the Pali glib talk. Plus she's never held elective office. She's smart, speaks Russian, which is a plus, plays piano beautifully, but is not Presidential quality. I'm for Allen myself.
