Hope so, but I was proved wrong with Lebanon. Israel hasn't sent in any ground forces into southern Lebanon to push the Hizbollah back.
Instead, it bombs empty houses, vacant highways, airports, and fuel depots.

Even so, Israel has got Hezbollah on the run and is flushing out rocket sites and exposing Iranian involvement.
This is significant and will strengthen its case in coming days.

Instead, it bombs empty houses, vacant highways, airports, and fuel depots. Its called shaping or preparing the battlefield. The IAF is making it difficult for Hizbolla to move around. This also provideds time for the called ground units to link up and move to their designated assembly areas. Probably within the next 72 hours we'll see the ground attack begin.
