I figured burning a flag is a form of protest, I figure burning something is burning something and has nothing to do with speech.
But, if you want, I hearby declare leaf burning to be a protest against petty Stalin wannabeee who gravitate to municipal code enforcement.

I also think that it should not be a crime if you put out the flames of a burning American flag with the bloody and bruised body of the POS who was burning it. Exactly!!!! You would only be exercising your First Amendment right to speech, along with possibly preventing a forest fire!
