Yep. Seemed appropriate, what with Hell coming to breakfast, and all.
Used to be a total spaghetti western junkie. Saw the reference up the thread, but didn't reply. Now I've got that darn song from "The Good, Bad, and the Ugly", stuck in my head. That guy would mess those jihad@sses straight up :)
This is an article about the artillery that Hezbollah has:

Who was more lethal?
Josie Wales, William Munny, The Preacher (of Pale Rider), The Stranger (of High Plains Drifter), or Rowdy Yates (of Rawhide)
a. Josie Wales.
Riddle me this O wise one:
Why would Iran start playing these games? We have 130,000 troops to their west, 20,000 troops to their east, and two carrier battle groups to their south.
Maybe Ahminanutjob is not thinking to clearly?

Thanks for the link. I'm not trusting them, think they simply don't have a direct issue with the situation hence they give some indirect permission to Israel's response.
IOW, I don't trust the Saudi's but at least they aren't contributing (that we know of) to the situation.
We have come to the conclusion that Josie Wales wins the prize. You didn't mention the Sergio Leone "spaghetti westerns", so the general consensus comes just from what films you mentioned.
Some friends bought us a DVD player for Christmas, but the TV is so old, we're having trouble hooking it up. I'd love to get all of Clint Eastwood's movies...minus the darn monkey.
.....Why would Iran start playing these games?.......
Ah, Friend. What would happen to Iraq and our forces, if the Iranian nutcases wished to lob sarin, or some other garbage, or, a nuke into Israel, etc??
Iraq, and our troops, are downwind, but not in the direct line of fire.
So what does Jack Murtha, Cindi Sheehan, Jacques Kerry, Ted the Swimmer, Biden the Bore, and all the other characters wish us to do????
How long does it take to get the results of polling in each distruct, enhanced by speeches by Pelosi and Reid hammering away that failure against the rag-heads is all Bush's fault.
What does Koffee the Klown decree from his exaulted pedestal?
("Since I can't make any money on this problem, the Security Council will table conversation for a month, whilst we find evidence that Isreal is the problem!)
Mike. it's horseshit all!!!!!!
(Hi and best of luck)
Thank you for the link.
He wants to bring the Mahdi.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahdi
He threw a treaty down the holy cave where Mahdi (aka a/the antichrist) is supposed to live. He honestly believes that by bringing a global war, the Mahdi will come. Nutjob has stated this in public many times.
Even though not a video game, break out the popcorn. It will be interesting how this game plays out.
They are afraid. we are already in their country. And they realize that for an enemy who recognizes the true nature of this conflict...
The rational thing to do would be to
So, what would the US do if Iran nuked Israel? That's the big question on my mind.
Josie Wales, William Munny, The Preacher (of Pale Rider), The Stranger (of High Plains Drifter), or Rowdy Yates (of Rawhide)
I don't recall too much of the Rowdy Yates character, but being on an old TV series pretty much scratches him from the list. The characters in Pale Rider and High Plains Drifter are for all practical purposes the same; vengeance in bootleather - but focused in one place or against one individual or small group.
William Munny is the most like Josey Wales, but has real-world frailties such as failing vision. I think of him as Josey Wales, only a few decades later in life. There's no doubt, Wales is the deadliest of the bunch.
I agree. Wales had just gone through a war and continued it on down to Texas with those who wanted his life.
He had that edge that belongs to the everyday warrior.
Munny was deadly when he lost control. Other than that he sort of bumbled around.
The preacher and the stranger are an interesting lot. Since the stranger is the "return" of a guy who had been beaten the first time, then that excludes him. The preacher didn't want the guns, and had even hung them up.
In many ways, Yates was Wales, only civilized and without the anger. He rode as hard, shot as fast, thought as quickly, and didn't miss his target. Wales was ruthless in that he did what needed to be done.
I go with Wales as most lethal.
