The new protected buffer that needs to extend out from Israel's boundaries should now be increased from 5 kilometers to at least 20 kilometers (distance of their furthest rocket).
This emptied, mostly leveled buffer (not even settlers should be allowed) would be held in conservancy for the people that lived there previously. Maybe thirty or more years (one or two generations) from now the Israelis could re-open it for inhabitation.
Rockets are hitting up to 25K now...
They need to ERADICATE Hamas, just as you would rats in the barn next door...
