As long as Russia stays out of it, it may be for the best.

I think Russia is butt-deep in it already. They've been dealing arms to Syria, nuke tech to Iran, threatening to oppose sanctions against Iran and North Korea, and of course, selling advanced fighters to Hugo Chavez, dictator of Venezuela.

Putin just blamed "the west" for (as he put it) creating hundreds of bin Ladens during the Afghan war against the Soviet occupation, even while he massacres the Chechens just to make sure the new USSR controls the route of an oil pipeline.

Be interesting to see if Russia gets WTO status tomorrow.
