Wow, it's a wonder sometimes how we made it through our toddler years huh? I don't ever remember our house having locks or those little latch catchers (which I had when my daughter was little). But I've heard that an industrious toddler can get past those pretty easily too. It's so sad that they had to "learn the hard way". It is a miracle the boy lived, and a blessing as well that they didn't lose both children. I am very sorry for their loss, and hope others learn from this. Thanks for the post SR.

I remember getting into St Joseph's aspirin that tasted like orange candy- but we knew it was wrong enough to sneak only one or two-- be careful parents- I am sending this to my friend that babysits her grandchildren this age!
