This article is bang on. A weak response to a terrorist attack emboldens our enemies and they will only come back to kill again. Offense is the best defense and the Bush administration stance is exactly the right one. India needs to do the same thing against Pakistan. Israel, India and the USA are the 3 top targets and enemies for Islam and all 3 need to take a strong offensive stance. We are in the midst of WWIII folks, what more do liberals need to see to realize that ?
It remains my belief that the weak response of this country to terrorist attacks in the 1990s and the feminization of America under the Clinton regime emboldened the murderous barbarians to strike as they did on 9/11. Clinton treated the terrorist attacks of the 1990s as matters of criminal acts and law enforcement, and failed to recognize them as the acts of war that they were. As long as the monsters think that only the individuals perpetrators of murderous acts will be punished they will continue to strike, because they don't care about their own lives. But if they know we will act against their friends, families, and allies, they will know that their actions have wider consequences.
