It was my first gut instinct. I think it will escalate into it. If they do not hand back the soldiers, Israel will put pressure on Hizbullah by bombing positions in Damascus and possibly even Tehran. It is pretty serious, Israel don't take these events lightly as we all know. It is only my prediction.

It would end up just another 6 day war which would end up humiliating Arabs even more.
