The NY Slimes dedicated well over 100 stories to the so called abuse of terrorists at abu Garib prison by U.S. troops ... in the first couple of months after the story broke. Most of that NY Times coverage on the front page.
The two U.S. Army soldiers in this instance, so brutally murdered and disfigured it required DNA to positively identify the remains ... received front page coverage just one day, never to be mentioned again ... at least, if at all, anywhere near the front page
