I work in a NICU, and whenever we take care of a baby born with anomalies that are incompatible with life, I can sense that this is a special angel lent to us by God to bless us for just a while, but who will watch over us forever after.
For the family, of course, it is devastating to lose a child, and my prayers are with them at this difficult time.
