EV, why don't you learn to defend your guy instead of constantly whining about what a victim he is?

I'm beginning to think you're working against him too.

He's defended himself just fine.

You just have your fingers in your ears, going "lalalalala...", so you don't have to face the fact that your insinuations in recent days have been pure bunkum.

You're projecting again.

You have your fingers in your ears, and a blindfold on.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are going "LOLOL", not "lalalala"....

You inferred for days that Simcox was ripping people off on the fence.

But apparently, every penny collected for the fence has gone into an escrow account for that purpose.

Your protestations of innocence throughout this thread, that you "were just asking questions" are now revealed for exactly what we knew they were when they were uttered: Phony.

You inferred for days that Simcox was ripping people off on the fence.

But apparently, every penny collected for the fence has gone into an escrow account for that purpose.

I've inferred based on what Simcox has said and done (or NOT done).

The MMDC website says

May 27, 2006 - Successful groundbreaking was held in Arizona on Memorial Day weekend. First 2.5 miles of 10 miles of Border Fence erected. Continue fence fundraising through direct mail, email, national radio affiliates and national speaking tours.

May 27 to June 30 – Finished the first 2.5 mi. section of fence, applied for permission on next 7.5 mi., repaired vandalized fence, ordered steel, finalized fence design/civil engineering specifications, retained 2 local Arizona contractors who hire legally, started vetting volunteers for work crews, completed volunteer delivery of donated construction truck, continue next 7.5 mi., acquire vehicle barrier steel, install vehicle barrier, test/install fence camera technology, plan and implement 24x7 fence security.

June 27 - Second site layout to be finished.

July 6-15 – Security Fence at second location starts.

Simcox is now saying that only the first 2.5 miles has been completed, and the vehicle barriers & cameras that should've been installed by now haven't been, and nothing else will be done until fall.

In other words, they are already a month behind their own schedule, and not planning to do anything else for several months.

He also states that some of the money collected, supposedly for the fence, is being spent on administrative and travel expenses and on building the infrastructure for a third political party - rather than "into an escrow account for that [building the fence] purpose."

Contradictions abound.

Your protestations of innocence throughout this thread, that you "were just asking questions" are now revealed for exactly what we knew they were when they were uttered: Phony.

I've been asking questions, but so far the answers I've gotten don't add up.

Besides, what's this "protestations of innocence" thing? Is there something innately evil about questioning whether or not someone is doing what they promised to do?

Do you really think FReepers are THAT stupid?

I think maybe you do.

You run in a pack. One of you plays the innocent "I'm just acting in good faith seeking answers" game, while your allies throw every bit of sludge they can dredge up from anti-American Leftwing sources and/or antifreepers or ignorant idiots, and throw it at people.

Then when detailed answers are provided to "little 'ol you", you don't miss a step. You just keep right on attacking.

The motives of your crowd are more than clear to everyone. In your heart, you want to destroy Chris Simcox. Period. He dared to take on a role as one of the leading critics of this Administration's failed border policy, and for that he must be destroyed.

Bottom line? You're aiding and abetting the MeCHa/SPLC/ACLU thugs who hate America and the Minutemen.

I wish you and Karl Rove lotsa luck with that La Raza thing...

As usual, you want it both ways.

If it's one way, you attack. If it's another, you attack anyway.

Which reveals to everyone your hypocrisy.

It is not so much they know each other. However it doesnbecome important as to this. We hear there are alot of expenses that Simcox must paid.. Management stuff. I just find that a lot of what has to be paid seems to be going to the same folks over and over. That all these people just do not know each other(like Oh I know him, I played Tennis with last week), but seem to own or have an interest in all these other groups that are getting quite a piece of coin.

The only thing I have revealed is your lack of effectiveness.

Paying you to post here would be a total waste of money, judging by your posts and your ability to lead and form a consensus.

Consensus is impossible to form with the folks you've chosen to run with here on FR. I learned that long ago. So, I simply oppose them, and you, when necessary. No big deal.

I'm beginning to think he's actually trying to destroy Simcox, Keyes et.al.

He doesn't actually defend them, and his obfuscation and vitriol have made more than a few enemies for "his side", and every time this thread (that is extremely negative for "his guy") seems about to die, he bumps it back to Latest Posts.

What would your conclusion be?

I disagree. EVie is quite effective at dividing the group. I'm struggling to believe how he has got so many folks questioning the MinuteMen's intentions. Remarkably effective, at irritating, at alienating, and, ultimately, at dividing.

Wow! You've discovered, using that neat little Google thingie, that (OMG!) people RAISE MONEY!! And *GASP* that people KNOW EACH OTHER!

Actually it looks like they raise money for one "cause" and give a pittance to that purpose, but pay the majority of the money to one of their other groups for "advertising" or "marketing" or "accounting services" -- then they can also sell their mailing lists to yet another of their groups, and use that to raise money for another "cause".

In other words, it's a shell game, and most of the contributions go to line the pockets of the fundraisers, with very little actually making it to the "cause" the donors thought they were supporting.

And people complain because United Way charges an administrative fee!

BTW, cf, great work!

Thanks. Oh by theway this is interesting Even thought it appears that simcox is the President of this organization. This whole thing is under Declaration alliance as one of its "Educational Programs" What is interesting is when you go tot the Pac they have. This was founded in 2005. Now the purpose of this pac is here
Declaration Alliance PAC is the official campaign and ballot initiative arm of the tax-exempt Declaration Alliance.

The goals of DAPAC for 2006 are simple and straightforward:
To defeat partisan Democrats, especially hard-core, leftwing liberals like Senators Robert Byrd and Harry Reid, and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.

To support endangered, scapegoated, anti-establishment conservative incumbents in Congress like Tom DeLay and Tom Tancredo, who have fought hard to stay true to our bedrock values and principles.

To recruit real conservatives who can challenge, politically frighten, and eventually REPLACE RINO, "Money-Is-God" incumbents like John McCain, Arlen Specter, Mike DeWine, and Chris Shays.

To pass pro-life, pro-family, anti-tax, pro-sovereignty, pro-traditional values, anti-big government, pro-property rights, pro-second amendment legislation and ballot initiatives across the U.S.

To retake the leadership of the GOP where it has been captured by pro-abortion, anti-family, pro-tax, antimilitary, pro-big government, anti-gun rights, "open borders" liberals in "blue states" like California, New Jersey, and Illinois.

It seems that the only guy that got money that the only guy that got money that ran for anything so far is Gilchrist.

But boy this Caging firm made some nice dough. In fact it appears that American Caging(Is this the respectable caging firm that Simcox is refering to in his letter in responding to critics) and this Richard Norman Dude were the prime beneificaries of this PAC. Also of interest Richard Norman is in the same town as where the Pac is registered. HEck they might be in the same block.

It will be interesting to see the new report
