You notice he is talking to softball inteviewers on this. He will duck anyone outside of Hannity in MSM.
To: Anti-Bubba182
He is admitting that the Israeli fence is just a gimmick and that he is in the process of 3rd party creation. That explains the involvement of other folks mentioned on this thread.

And why did it take him so long to respond?
And why did he do it yesterday.
Busy day for some, huh?

[Amelia rolls her eyes at someone who apparently just realized it would be hot as Hades on the border in July and August...] Yep no one in Arizona or any other border states work outside in the summer.

His response actually CONFIRMED what people have been saying. He has not built the fence advertised, he has no real plans to build the fence advertised and he is using the money collected for things other than the fence advertised.

In the meantime he and the Declaration people are trying to raise 55mil, for an Israeli style fence. If the money went instead to a third party, under the excuse that the powers that be are blocking the fence so we need to do something else, who would be the candidate? Dr keyes is Chairman for the Declaration Alliance........Hmmmmmm!
To: Amelia
Thanks. There is an entire cottage industry out there surrounding the non-profits.... I really don't trust any of them as in the long run they are self promoting and generally offer very little in tangible results. I can only think of Larry Klayman, Bay and Pat Buchanan and others with all their issues that needed funding. Others sell books, write columns, do speaking tours, heck some even hire out as nominees to run on a ballot, etc. but never get the hands soiled with the true hard labor to produce a usable product. In the long run I have very little respect for them, their kind or their causes. I also have very little use for many of the cult media/radio/tv personalities that some many drool over. JMO and others will obviously differ as is their right. /rant

If you look at the rules concerning a 501c4 organization he is violating federal law by using those funds for political activity.

Dr keyes is Chairman for the Declaration Alliance........Hmmmmmm! Well we know it wouldn't be Simcox his past would catch up with him but this could be a vehicle for Tancredo since Tancredo and Keyes link back and forth. I would guess though that Keyes would not be in it just to support someone else.

It could be because he felt the earth moving under his feet. He goes with a friendly interviewer and wants to suggest that the ABC station inserted different questions to his answers or vis vera. It is a cockammamie argument, but suitable to a paranoid market.
To: Texasforever
I think Tancredo is too smart for a third party, but I think Keyes would do it if the money was there.

Reporter says Simcox should have recorded entire interview so that he could prove what was said. Simcox says that now he's doing that, but some reporters won't interview him under those conditions.I'm wondering about this part. If Simcox has already implemented that policy, and already been turned down by some reporters because of it, why did this reporter feel the need to suggest that Simcox adopt the policy?
Wouldn't the reporter have known that Simcox is already doing this?

The entire interview was an exercise in paranoia. EVERYONE is out to get him from all corners. He is besieged by enemies from the left and the right. He may sound rational as you stated earlier but if you have read the tapped transcripts of conversations between him and his son the man is a loaded gun. He is neither rational or in control. He did fine in a softball interview but he would go ballistic if someone went after him for real.

but I think Keyes would do it if the money was there. Yep 55 mil would make a nice living for full time vanity campaigns.
