He basically said that Watada was way out of line with his remarks, and that Watada (having volunteered for duty by his own volition) is basically a coward for trying to weasel his way out of duty.
I have to agree with O' that Watada is a coward. I saw Watada being interviewed on Fox's Dayside where Col. David Hunt was also on during the segment. I was amazed that Col. Hunt parsed his comments to Watada as much as he did.
Watada's basic statement was the war in Iraq was illegal therefore he refused to go. Hunt basically said the troops were better off with Watada not in country.
