I understand Nan.
The finest will feel and has felt a little empty without her.
We all have to remember one thing, that Maggie is here with all of us in Spirit. She would want us all to continue on in her memory, you know that.
Being the Marine she is, she would be demanding it.
Of course. It's the emptyness that hurts today. It will get easier with time. I know.
Rus, thank you for dedicating this coming Military Monday thread to Maggie in her honor. That is a most fitting thread to show our love and respect to a brave Marine. I can only imagine how many Freepers will be here to celebrate the life of one of FR's most beloved freepers.
My prayers go out to all of Maggie's family and all those who love her- we have already been missing her stories and loving posts here at The Finest the last several weeks.
We'll see you later, Maggie.
To all of you at the Finest.....I just wanted to extend my condolences at the loss of your loved one. I did not know Lady X myself but it is obvious that she was deeply loved by many. God rest & keep her. May God bless & comfort you all & her family.
It's difficult to express my feelings as we mourn Maggie's Home-going.
I'm saddened by the loss of our dear friend, but I must also say that as a fellow believer in Jesus Christ, I rejoice with her as she is now gazing at His face, worshipping and praising God as we can only imagine.
I thank God for the cyber conversations we have had over the years as well as a wonderful telephone conversation a while back.
I will certainly miss her presence here at the Finest but I rest comfortably knowing that at some point in time I will join with her in heavenly praises to our Lord.
May Maggie's brief time with us over the years continue to touch the hearts of folks so that they too will come to the knowledge of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Perfect post Dave, I agree with every word my friend.
How thoughtful of you. Thanks for coming by.
Thank you, dear, so much.
When TexasCowboy went Home, I couldn't help but smile, thinking of him in absolute AWE over being before the throne of God...his walking through Heaven, grinning ear to ear over his new Home.
I feel the same way about Maggie today. She's well, all well. No more pain, no more suffering. She's seen her Savior's Face...and she's Home where she was meant to be.
I mourn for the loss of a friend, for the pain we all feel at her loss, but I do not mourn for her. She's happy, she's well, she's whole and she's Home.
God has richly blessed us by being able to call her our friend.
Amen, Dave. We all have memories of stories from Maggie! (((hugs)))
Amen.
We'll be here to give you a hug when you are ready.
Amen
Prayers for Maggie and her loved ones
I am so sad to hear about this....I have not been checking in this thread as often as I should. I always enjoyed her posts and will miss her spark.
I guess I'll be looking forward to Mondays thread with a heavy heart.
Thank so much for your very thoughtful post. It is appreciated. LadyX (Maggie) was the best and will be missed so much.
Nan, I totally understand. I was knocked off my feet when whoever went home to be with Jesus.
I offer my prayers and condolences to you and to Maggie's family, at the same time rejoicing in the knowledge that, in Christ, our separation is but for a season.
