It is just a cold eyed advancement of their missile program through testing, and the further they go toward threatening our mainland, the higher the stakes become. The one thing that would stop them is an overwhelming military threat.
Also interesting is the Liberal take on all this. Now they're saying why did Bush waste time bothering about Iran when NK was the real threat. Bush's fault. He's stupid, he should have talked one on one with Kim. Maybe all he wanted was permission to counterfeit a few more billion US dollars. The last six years have been a huge failure all around. That we haven't been hit again is no credit to Bush. They had no sensible answer. (This was during the discussion about the FBI's stopping the NY tunnel bombers). Not that the FBI got any credit.
