We'll almost-certainly know who will be driving the Big Brown Truck next year by this time tomorrow because UPS scheduled an announcement; the hot rumor is they're following Dale Jarrett to MWR and Toyota.

Keeping the fingers (and toes) crossed.

It was rumored a while back that should UPS announce they are leaving RYR, Robert Yates would show DJ and UPS the door immediately.

So DJ now needs a ride.

Hello DEI and the #15 car.

What's so silly about that?

If it were the beginning of June instead of the beginning of July, you might have something. Coming out of Dover, the #15 was "only" 819 points out of 35th; and with DJ's past-champ status (1999), making up an average of 36 points would have been relatively-easy (indeed, if he would've finished where he did in the 88, he would have made up 41 points per race over the 4 races between Dover and now).

However, the #15 is now 1088 points out of 35th, and they would need to make up an average of 58 points per race. That's beyond the realm of likelyhood (and I won't go into the lingering feud between Mikey and DEI).
