Indeed. If they want a missile sheld, let them ask for it and pay for it. If it is needed to protect our troops in Europe ... let's get cracking on that exit strategy for WWII.
Now if it were to be based in Poland, like the extended version of the article alluded to, or all intercepts were designed to happen over Berlin and Paris, maybe it would be worthwile to put the missiles in Europe instead of the East Coast.
LOL, I like the comment about an exit strategy from WW2. Missile shield for US bases in Europe for sure. Missile shields for the rest of Europe at cost plus a standard 33% mark-up.
