Why is a private casino being shutdown due to a government budget issue?
Because in Atlantic City, you need government monitors supervising the gambling.
The Casino Inspectors are State Employees.
Gaming officials are employed through the state. They watch the money and make sure all the rules are followed.
I worked as a cashier at Foxwoods Resort and Casino when the new $100 bills came out. One night I was $100 short and had to write a report for and be interviewed by the Gaming Commission.
That was my question.
WHERE does the government get the right to shut down a business because the State can no longer operate?
If the State is not in operation, how can it 'enforce' anything or require anything from anyone, since it does not, for all practical purposes, even exist?
