At least New Jersey is smoke free. Now, that's progress isn't it? So stop whining!

With no state budget, New Jersey can't pay its state employees, meaning the casino inspectors who keep tabs on the money and whose presence is required at casinos are off the job.Look for the casino owners to claim this is an emminent domain action, "taking" their profits through failure to fulfill the gubermint's mandated responsibilities. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

Surely you know the answer ... somehow it will become ... (wait for it) ... Bush's fault!

I have no sympathy for people who work at casinos. The places are filled with the absolute scum of the earth. I say good riddance and let 'em close. What a nasty thing to say.
If you don't like casinos/gambling/whathaveyou that's fine, but who are you to be gleeful over others losing their jobs just because you disapprove of where they work?

I am no expert but I think one could successfully argue that the on board speedometer of a vehicle or the radar gun that measures it might have a margin of error that would get the ticket of a 2 mph speeding ticket tossed out. Of course a lot of these are just paid for because of the time and hassle of going to argue it in court.

As I understand it courts are also closed except for emergency cases.
Hard for them to collect if we can't get due process.

Why is a private casino being shutdown due to a government budget issue? Gaming officials are employed through the state. They watch the money and make sure all the rules are followed.
I worked as a cashier at Foxwoods Resort and Casino when the new $100 bills came out. One night I was $100 short and had to write a report for and be interviewed by the Gaming Commission.

And as a casino worker I have no sympathy for ignorant people that over-generalize. I agree..........and I don't work in a casino :)

Well, you did vote them into office.
