There shouldn't be more than 687,000 votes left (and likely less, since the projected total continues to decrease, suggesting the remaining precincts are smaller than average - as you said, likely extremely rural areas). PAN is ahead by 385,000. The PRD socialists would need to beat Calderon's PAN by about 55 percentage points of the multi-party vote in the outstanding precincts (i.e. something like 70%-15% or 55%-0%) in order to win. It ain't happening.
