back in university I dated a sorority girl for a number of years, Harris has always reminded me of the creepy mothers who were always hanging around the sorority who seemed to feel they were fully involved - when really their presense was only tollerated because they bought alcohol.

"she scared residents of a small Indiana town when she incorrectly said a terrorism plot aimed at them had been foiledand, most recently, suggested that congressional Florida Democrats support her when none do."

I may have to rethink my support of Katherine.

I used to look forward to her involvement in politics, now I realize she is a nut with no loyalty to any one except her own self delusions.

Somebody please get her off the stage.

Miami Herald Polls have "special sauce". It's not Zogby sauce but it's special sauce.

Sounds like shee's got a good platform to run on...

Katharine Harris

You Can Count On Me...

* To defend marriage, as the union between one man and one woman
* To secure our borders
* To abolish the death tax
* To support pro-growth, pro-family tax policies
* To preserve the Second Amendment (Rated "A" by the NRA - Bill Nelson is rated "F")
* To oppose the use of eminent domain by public bodies for the benefit of private entities
* To advocate for the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003
* To stand against amnesty for illegal immigrants
* To reform our onerous tax code
* To give Florida the power to decide when and where off-shore drilling could occur

She's definitely got my vote.

I didn't want her to enter the Senate race. She should have stuck to her House seat.

Since the Bushes never warmed up to Harris anyway, why doesn't Jeb just resign as Governor and run for the Senate himself? It would be a great way to get more national recognition, and he could stake out his own views, agenda and record independent from his brother.

If you read the whole thread, the argument seems to be between Republicans and Katherine Harris supporters, but if you read the responses of the Harris supporters, they all seem to believe that every one, that doesn't support her in the primary is a Nelson supporter, or a Nelson troll.

I think this indicates a "type" among her supporters.

With her poll numbers in free fall, now down to 26% it shouldn't stir up so much irrational anger that other Republicans would support a different candidate for the PRIMARY to face the Democrat incumbent in the election.

The inflexibility of her supporters, strikes me as less about politics and more about a fixation on Katherine Harris, herself.

This personal fixation is confusing to those of us that are simply trying to defeat Nelson, with which ever candidate that can win.

Her campaign is very frustraiting.

The issue is not the issues, the issue is her campaign.

Nelson is rightfully IGNORING Harris because she is no real competition, not even a minor annoyance.

Too bad, it is degenerated into the "perception" of harris as a spoiled rich lady who does not know how to play well with others.

just darn...

Harris remains far behind if the election were held today. Nelson gets 59 percent to Harris' 26 percent....

I guess 10 mill doesn't go as far as it used to.

Harris will get clobbered.A nice rack will only get you so far.

Florida's GOP seems to have a pretty deep bench. Why waste their time on this joke?
