Hinduism is traditionally viewed as a Pagan religion. Though, from some of what I've read, their belief is more along the lines of a super trinity (thousands of Gods being simply revelations of a single God).

As for peacefullness/violence...there seem to be both types. I knew two in Middle School. One was very soft spoken, polite, and peacefull. The other was a complete a**hole for lack of a better word.

Over in India, there does seem to be a problem with Militant Hinduism...basically Hindus who attack and kill Christians. While, this is not representative of all Hindus, it [the violence against Christians] does exist. Though, nowhere near as bad as Islam, which is violent to its core.

The Hindu belief system is unbiblical and condemns its adherants to eternal damnation in the fires of Hell. Hindus must renounce their false Gods and accept the one true God (YHVH) in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit in order to be saved. Hinduism like certain other religions has tried to pass off the idea that all religions are right...That all Gods are in fact one God.

But, if that were true, then that would make God insane. God cannot love the Jews [as his chosen people,] yet hate them with such a passion that he would cause "the trees to cry out 'Muslim, Follower of Allah, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and KILL him'". God cannot have revealed to John the Beloved that the Antichrist would ride out on a white horse, rule for 7 years, enforce a false one-world religion, kill Christians [and Jews], etc...and then "revealed" to Mohammed that a prophet "al-Mahdi" would do these exact same things, yet be a prophet of God. No, Allah is NOT God. He is a Satanic lie...just like all other Gods other than the one true God (YHVH).

As for the fallibility of God...God [the one true God - YHVH] is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. He knew from the beginning what choices Lucifer, the Demons, Adam, and Eve would make...But, he stilled allowed them free will. They chose of their own free will to rebel against God. But, God knew this would happen. He did not make a mistake. In the same way, he allows all of us to chose to accept or reject him and his plan of Salvation [that is Jesus.] God could if he desired cause everyone to be saved. But, he desires us to make that step of faith and free will.

Some other religions do allow for a fallible god...and thus it is not improbable to find examples of divine error in false religions. The Greeks and Romans with their Pantheon of God are a perfect example. Their Gods had more problems than all of Hollywood combined. Zeus was commiting open adultury. The gods would regularly undermine each other. Things could be done without the gods seeing.

This is because the Greek and Roman "gods" were not viewed as Omniscient, Omnipotent, or Infallible. They were like humans - lustfull, prone to fits of random violence, and what not. They were simply the epitome of human sinfullness. The one true God is not lustfull, prone to fits of random violence, or for that matter sinfull in any way, shape, or form. He is pure and holy. There is no sin in him at all. Every one of us falls short of his standard (perfection). That is why he gave his only begotten son, that we could be forgiven by faith and not works...Because, all our works are like dirty rags compared to the holiness of God.

Admit you are a Sinner in need of God's Grace
Believe Jesus died for your sins and God raised him from the dead
Confess Christ is Lord
Repent of your sins (this includes idolatry and polytheism)

...and you shall be saved.

It doesnt. Good Karma results in Moksha or "eternal salvation". Unfortunately posts like the above aint good karma.
