That's the problem right there. Most Hindus I've met (and I've met a lot) have no problem with the concept of Christ's divinity - Hinduism is an amalgam of a lot of religious beliefs. I've been in more than a few Hindu houses with crucifixes and pictures of Christ and the Virgin Mary in the household shrine along with all of the other gods. The problem for those Hindus who oppose conversion seems to be the insistence of Christians that the other gods be renounced.

How do they respond to the "No one can come throguh the Father except through me"? They can't say that he was both divine and in the same breath say he was wrong in saying this.
