"We believe there may be a second-degree misdemeanor violation, which is possession of certain drugs without a prescription, because the bottle does not have his name on it," sheriff's spokesman Paul Miller told the Associated Press. As long as the WPB sheriff's office is making statements like this, Rush could still face some trouble. The only deterrent would be if they are convinced it will blow up in their faces even more than the initial prosecution - O'Reilly may be a useful tool in this argument.
It will be dropped locally. And if it's in the news, it's ONLY locally. O'Reilly is keeping it in the news nationally. That's my beef.
I know what you are saying and I sort of agree, but this guy just got hung out to dry and not saying anything about it is just going to get them ready to sting him again any time or place they can. If Bill can bring some real heat on them it might just make them think a little before they try this crap again. I really do think that he should get the hell out of there a/s/a/p but we pushed him out of NY via the tax police and I really can't think of a place, except the mid-west where he would be OK. Rush is no wilting lilly and we must remember that. He's a big boy with a kick ass lawyer (Black) so maybe we should just sit back and watch for awhile.
Sometimes when I go to the doctor, he gives me samples, in an envelope, no less, and it doesn't even having any writing on it...I guess I'll never go to Florida without having actually paid for my meds!
