My wife and I watched Broken Trails on TV the other night and thought that it was an excellent movie/miniseries. Duvall is simply awesome, and moreover, I think he is the spitting image of Robert E. Lee, with a REAL Virginia accent, unlike that other guy who shall remain nameless:

I hesitate to tell you this....I saw a documentary on Ted Turner's Gods and Generals in which Duvall made some disparaging remarks about the saint he was portraying.
Not trying to discredit Duvall, just setting the record straight.
