I sometimes wonder why some feel a need to pursue truth and others are not bothered by such a nagging need, but once we acknowledge that there is such a thing as absolute, unchanging truth among the tangle of lies and illusions it is impossible to be have any level of self-respect without making an effort to live it--imperfect as our efforts will always be.
