Rush constantly refers to himself as a conservative. And my post had nothing to do with being "perfect" or faulting Rush other than saying he is misguided about what a conservative really is. I never said Rush was a bad man just that he is not a conservative, he is at most a Republican and I don't see that as being a bad thing.
Yes, Rush says he is a conservative, I didn't say he says he isn't. I said Rush doesn't try to play like he is the perfect example of morality and I've heard him say this myself. You must have misread what I said to you. Conservatism isn't all about being perfectly moral all the time. Heck, when I was in my early 20's I was out smoking, drinking, and doing all sorts of naughty things and my friends couldn't understand how I could call myself a Conservative Republican. There is a difference in Conservatism and a Religious Moral Conservatism.
