Thank you. Again, the context of the times is important. Slaves were treated very differently based on biblical principles from those in parts of the world today where such a practice still occurs.

While I understand your point and agree that the Jewish law of the time codified specific rules on how slaves and masters were to interact. I would submit that from the view point of a slave, there is not much difference between "Biblical" slavery and historical or even modern slavery.
To back my point, I would show to you that a slave could beaten so severally that the slave would die. And if that death occurred two or three days after the beating, then the master would not be held accountable for the death. That is an example of "Biblical" slavery.
