Can't say I was surprised by the revelation. Just disappointed. I guess it's a good thing X42 was married while we were criticizing his Oval Office indiscretions.
It was the perjury, the subourning (sp?) of purjury, and the general making a mockery of the sexual harrassment laws that his party pushed that were the problems with Clinton.
Of course, the underlying charcter issues made him unsuited in my mind to be POTUS, but the voters knew about all that and they didn't have a problem.
What saved Clinton was that the "it's all about sex" mantra stuck. Our side wasn't able to break through with the "it's all about perjruy" slogan.
