You know, I loved Lonesome Dove. I find these Duvall western movies very emotional. I have to watch it in the dark so my wife and kids don't see me choke up. As I get older, I get worse about it. Great scenery and story line. It will probably be Duvalls last western.

Duvall commented that he considered it the third in a trilogy: Lonesome Dove, Open Range and now, Broken Trail. I've got it tivo'd for viewing all at once. Can't wait.

Did you ever see "Second Hand Lions" with Duvall and Michael Caine? That also is an excellent film; so good we bought it to watch over and over again. Same thing in that movie...good characters, good scenery, etc.
