Plus, keep in mind this just means he had in his possession a prescription made out to someone else. Not that he used it. I know they are saying it is his, under his doctor's name. But who hasn't carried their husband's, wife's, friend's, or kid's prescription on a trip and certainly you wouldn't be arrested for that.

With any normal person, Rush would have been treated with sympathy for the painkiller prescription (Brett Favre??) and this Viagra thing would be minor, with MAYBE the doctor getting in a little bit of trouble.

Keep in mind Rush and the customs are saying the perscription was written TO Rush, for Rush with the name he used to identify himself. It is like using a nick name.
(ie John vs Johnathan,Chip vs Richard,John vs Marion)
