Would you have preferred Hispanics given Kerry 100% of their vote ? He most assuredly would've been President in that instance.

That's not the point. Bush got only slightly more of that vote than the GOP has traditionally received. In 1984 Reagan had around 38% of it.

Yes we should always keep trying for more but I don't think pandering by way of amnesties is the answer.

Had President Bush received 0% among Hispanics, he wouldn't have carried Florida, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, or even Texas. John Kerry would have been elected president with 349 electoral votes to only 189 for President Bush.
