"So what is your alternative"

Since late 03 there have been uncountable bills and proposals. While I may have thought that there was one that was best, or more than one that was adequate, I realize that none of them were perfect. In the end, I will have supported the one that is politically feasible.

How about you?

"Politically feasible" isn't necessarily always the preferred way. McCain/Feingold was politically feasible but is still constitutionally questionable.

The League of United Latin American Citizens says it wants to hear from U.S. Rep. James Sensenbrennner on why he proposed a bill that would make it a felony to be in the U.S. illegally and, among other things, build a 700-mile fence along the U.S.-Mexico border.

He should show up & explain the law - in English.
