The headline is misleading. The debate hardly indicated a curbing of anti-Israel rhetoric. Rather, there is a movement for suppressing part of the New Testament and a willingness to incorporate token balance (and a veneer of reasonableness) into the moral relativism that continues to justify the terrorism of the Palestinians.

The new materials would seek to "root out" the teaching that Jews were "Christ killers" and reawaken the knowledge and affirm an appreciation of the church's Jewish origins, supporters argued.What do they care if Jews were "Christ-killers?" They can't agree that Christ is the only way to salvation, so what does it matter who killed him?
