I just want to know one thing...why is it that we can be so critical of Americans who feel that morality is a good thing?

If you set your standard of morality higher than mine, then you MUST be some kind of snob who thinks you're better than me. There's no WAY you can just accept me as having a different standard than you do. You MUST be some kind of MORALITY BIGOT. That's why I get upset.

I know it's not because my conscience gives me a kick when I see where your standard is set. I KNOW that's not the reason I get upset.

My goodness, you are upset. I doubt this response will mean much but I'll try. I believe that a majority of citizens in any given community should have a voice on what they will or will not allow in that community. I happen to live in a dry county. I don't see the point, but I live with it.

My standard of morality is different from yours, not higher, I do accept your standard without hesitation and the point of my post was wondering why those of us who think this way can't expect the same.

Forgive my sensitivity regarding children. I believe that growing them up too fast is harmful to their little minds. I don't think this is a stand that should be attacked so violently, but again that's me. Peace to you as well, nothing personal.
