Hmm, I didn't know until I looked @ his IMDB page. He was involved in the very short lived show called "All Souls" which stared my favorite actress. Wish I could find a copy of it.

Goodness, with all those hit shows I just realized I only liked one of them, (Twin Peaks) and that one for maybe the first 10 episodes.
I too have heard he was a nice guy.

Rest in peace Mr. Spelling, and thanks for the memories.

The cruelty I read here is sad. Who cares what his daughter looks like? Wouldn't you give your kid a good job if you could? I am a Jew and I believe in Yeshuah. Prayers for the family. I would die if I lost either of my parents and I'm 48.

I would like to thank him for Starsky And Hutch. Whatever you might think of some of his stuff, the man knew what people wanted to see and how to entertain them. And believe me, we needed something to keep our minds off of what was going on during the Carter Years! Prayers for him and his family.

Rest in peace Mr. Spelling. We have enjoyed many of your shows over the years. (
"Fantasy Island" was one of my all time favorites, and more recently "Charmed").
I don't know if anyone here watched "Charmed", but, one little thing I noticed after 9/11, was that every episode after that date had a U.S. flag somewhere in it, as part of the set- i.e. a flag refrigerator magnet in the kitchen set, or on a coffee cup in a scene. I thought it was a nice touch.
TV is in such a dreadful state, (with one or two exceptions), I wonder who will fill this void? Mr. Spelling's originality, and creativity, will be missed.
Prayers for his family, for comfort through their grieving.

So sorry for his family. Without Daddy's influence and protection, his fairly young adult kids will have to finally grow up real fast.

Aaron Spelling was a successful man...and a Republican...
I do hope Tori made up with her Dad after his stroke and before he passed away...the following is from an article published shortly after his stroke...so she had time to make amends...hope she did...
"......He later made daughter Tori Spelling a household name by casting her in the 90s smash hit, 'Beverly Hills 90210'."
However, her parents have stopped talking to her.
Spelling and his wife Candy have fallen out with her after she mocked their "eBay room" - a room in their home dedicated to the internet auction site.
A friend of the 32-year-old actress revealed: "There was a scene in the first episode of her new show, 'So noTORIous,' in which she makes fun of it.
"When Candy saw the episode, she threatened Tori and said she was going to sue her."

I know he and his wife had been estranged from their daughter over her choice in husband material. Last month was the first time in the last 9 months that they had seen their daughter in person. I hope they got things straightened out.

God bless Aaron Spelling. His shows for the most part were far more decent than the rest of what passes for "entertainment" these days.
Prayers for his family.
